Menopause

MENOPAUSE is the time of the last period and thus the end of the reproductive capacity of women, which is why menopause is defined as the time of the last menstruation, which is followed by no more ovarian-induced bleeding from the uterus/womb for at least twelve months, i.e., 1 year.

The cause is a natural and programmed ovarian insufficiency, the ovaries no longer work correctly and the corresponding change in the hormonal balance. The menopause is described as the phase in a woman’s life in which the ovaries gradually stop producing sex hormones and providing fertile eggs.

To reach this point, 3 phases are used medically
